Fix 1. Update Carrier Settings

Your local carrier regularly releases updates to ensure flawless iPhone calls and text functions. If these carrier settings are outdated, they might interfere with text messages on the iPhone. Follow the steps below to update carrier settings on the iPhone.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on the iPhone.

Step 2: Go to General > select the About menu.

Step 3: Scroll to the Physical SIM section. If an update is available, tap Update and follow the on-screen instructions.

Fix 2. Ensure the Line is Turned On (For Multiple Sims)

You can disable and enable the cellular line and fix the text messages not showing up on the iPhone issue.

Step 1: Open Settings > go to Mobile data/Cellular data.

Step 2: Tap the SIM (which is not receiving messages).

Step 1: Open the Settings app on the iPhone.
